On my new-found fitness journey, I have been discovering all kinds of things about myself.
I’ve also been learning things about technology — a big one being that Apple’s “ear pods” (they don’t call them earbuds anymore!) SUCK. I don’t know if it’s because I have tiny ears, or because the universe hates me, but trying to cram ear pods into my ears on a good day is a painful endeavor. Add in becoming a sweaty beast while on the ellipitcal, and they’re just plain ridiculous because they fall out.
This. Is. Not. Acceptable.
I don’t know about you, but sometimes the only thing keeping me at that last quarter mile is the Madonna remix pounding in my ears. It’s not okay to have to readjust my music-makers every three seconds.
I should mention, my husband is a total audiophile and owns earbuds that exceed the monthly income of some families in third world countries. I always thought it was impossible to have decently fitting “custom” feeling earbuds without shelling out phat bucks for them.
Enter Yurbuds Sport Earphones.
Compatible with all smart phones, tablets, computers and audio devices featuring a 1/8” (3.5mm) headphone jack. They are designed specifically to fit smaller ears, the FlexSoft and TwistLock technologies guarantee they will never hurt or fall out. These sweat & water-resistant Yurbuds allow for ambient noise awareness and deliver consistent, premium sound. Available in six colors, Yurbuds Inspire for Women are the perfect training partner for any female athlete.
And they’re awesome.
My Inspire pair is yellow, because I just HAD to have them (instant gratification problems anyone?) — but they also come in aqua, green, orange, pink and purple. Of course I would have preferred pink, but.. I SUPPOSE I’ll live. And for only $29.99? You really can’t beat it. If you’re one of those people who needs to yap on their phone while working out, the Inspire Talk model is just an extra $10. They do this neat little twist and lock into your ear, and the soft material doesn’t hurt at all.
F’reals — check them out. Don’t forget to pop over to their Facebook and Twitter and say hello!
